Hi everyone,
Unfortunately as per my message on the Whatsapp group, we have had some damage done to court 1. This looks like it was done by someone wearing the incorrect footwear.
Everyone that plays must be wearing non marking shoes. The damage that has been done is going to be expensive to fix and is something that should have been easily avoided.
Again, if anyone knows anything about how it happened, please feel free to contact me directly in confidence.
We have also noticed members again booking courts without adding a playing partner. This is a requirement of the booking rules and needs to be adhered to. This will now be monitired more closely and reminders sent directly to offenders. Constant offenders could be subject to further action.
As a community run club, we don't have the support of a giant faceless corporation, so I would urge all members to please treat the courts and the space around them as though they are your own.
