Wave Members

Hi, [[firstname]],

You may remember that when the pandemic hit there was a change in the way that membership fees were collected for the squash club. Previously all membership fees were collected by Wave on behalf of Dunnings but this changed in July of 2021 when Dunnings began collecting our subscriptions directly.

So what's this got to do with you?

Well, as an existing Wave gym member at the time of the transition, you were granted "grandfather rights" to continue using the squash courts for free but this was to be only for the first year. And so, with effect from 31st July 2022 you will need to have a "Bolt On" membership to Dunnings to continue to book and play on the courts. This "Bolt On" membership is currently only £5 per month and with it you of course become a full member of the squash club entitling you to better booking rights, leagues, club nights, tournaments, socials, teams and access to the junior coaching pass.

We hope that you will agree that this is a very small price to pay and will consider joining the club, which you can do very simply on our website Joining page.

Please be aware that we do have a £5 guest fee applicable to non-members (£3 for juniors) so if you are currently regularly playing a non-member then they may consider joining the club too; full details of our membership categories are on our website. If they are already a Wave gym member then they too can join with the £5 per month "Bolt On" membership.
