Hello All,

I have opened registration for 2 tournaments on Mycourts:

Squash Handicap Tournament - Registration Closes 26th September

Racketball Handicap Tournament - Registration Closes 3rd October

These are open to both DSRC and Acorns members

The schedule for the last 16 in each tournament will be as follows:

Monday 24th Oct Round of 16 - Squash

Monday 31st Oct Round of 16 - Racketball

Monday 14th Nov Quarter Finals - Squash and Squash Plate

Monday 21st Nov Quarter Finals - Racketball & Racketball Plate

Monday 28th Nov Semi-Finals - Squash and Racketball and Plates

Tuesday 6th Dec Finals - Squash and Racketball and Plates

For the above courts will be booked and slots allocated, from 6:40pm each evening.

Assuming there are more than 16 players in a tournament, then there will be a preliminary round for some or all of the players. For these, courts and times will need to be arranged by the players themselves . Similarly this may be required for prliminary matches the plate competition.

The plate competition is for those players who played and lost in their first round (either preliminary or round of 16)

Due to the complexity of not knowing how many players will enter, and how many will be in the plate etc, I have tried to ensure there will be a 3 week period between the start and round of 16 (for preliminary matches) and from round of 16 to the quarter finals.

Matches will be best of 3, PAR15, with the handicap scoring meaning a player can start on any value down to minus 15

If you enter then it would be expected that you are available on the finals and semi final evenings, and ideally the quarter and round of 16 though some rearrangement will be allowed on these 2 rounds
